                                         Rachel Lechocki

 

Rachel is a Chicago-based multi-media artist, teacher, certified yoga instructor and writer.  Her work is characterized by what she refers to as passionate texture explorations which occur during an almost medititive trance.  For Lechocki, the paints lead the way to unleashing poignant energies on the surface, with each work capturing a unique moment in time and reminding herself and the viewer that all is temporary in this world.  She deeply connects with the colors, environment and emotions during art-making, and uses appropriate materials to enhance that feeling.  From cultivating creative communities to hosting art nights, and

from teaching art to spreading the

message of peaceful living and yoga,

Rachel thoroughly enjoys connecting

others through her art.  Rachel's studio

is located at the Zhou B Art Center in

Richard Bloomfield

Richard Bloomfield is

a multi-media Chicago

based artist whose

work deals extensively

with the figure. 

Preferred mediums

include pallpoint pen and

pencil.  Bloomfield's work

captures the essence of his

subjects in precision, many

times in a contemplative pose with

meaningful expression in their gaze or stance.  He has exhibited at various venues including more recently the Tom Robinson Gallery and The Palette & Chisel.  Bloomfield has been a member of The Palette & Chisel for over ten years, and also an active participant and exhibiting artist at past Art Depth events. 

Michael J. Mayosky

 

Since age two, Michael knew he was meant to be an artist.  He is a self taught painter, recognized nationally for his large scale murals and "live painting" shows.  During performance paintings, viewers are often mesmerized while he paints from his home-built spinning easel.  Ranging from figurative to landscape, his works all share an expressive style unique to Mayosky. To date, he has painted over 500 murals which span across the U.S., with a goal of completing a total of 1,000 before the year 2022.  Throughout his travels he portrays "shared histories" through visual story telling.  Mayosky's vibrant, thought provoking, and often symbolic work adorns both public spaces and expansive building exteriors as well as commissioned interiors.  He is not only a fine artist but also an inspirational teacher, writer and film director.  For many years he devoted his summers to providing art instruction at Lincoln Memorial Garden -

creating lesson plans based

on conservation observation

through creative works and

teaching students the ability

to think artistically about the

natural world.

                                           Emmanuel L White Eagle

 

Emmanuel L. White Eagle is a multidisciplinary Chicago-based artist whose work combines iconography, fashion, culture and spirituality.  Religion and global issues are also apparent in some of his work.  He describes his work as a reflection this world through a kaleidoscope of personal perspective, global insight and images derived from the cosmos.   Having had encouragement and training in a vast range of materials since age four - both from his parents who are fine artists as well his master painter/muralist grandfather, in addition to continual practice and inspiration received from the urban street scene, Emmanuel

has created an impressive portfolio consisting of diverse

techniques that integrate various styles,

ideas and mediums.  His work ranges

from illustration to painting,

character development and film but

all share a unique style that is

signature of White Eagle.
